This system level module allows the user to create a product. Products are added when creating a job. The products are picked from supplier and delivered to the customer against the address details included in the job. Product created in the system level module is reflected the web portal module of job, project and quotation. Any new product added here will be available for including in a job. The module has following sub modules:
This sub module allows the user to add a new product. The add new product screen has three sub categories namely, details, surcharge and conditions. Each of the mentioned are explained respectively. The below screen shows the details that need to be added before continuing with surcharge and conditions sub categories:
Mandatory fields:
Product name
Product code
Unit
Weight (Kg) / unit
Once the product details are saved and additional sub category of series is available for the user’s perusal. This allows the user to add a serial number to the product. The user can either add the serial number here or can import serial number using the available sample. The sample can be accessed by clicking the download sample button in the top right corner. The screen is shown below:
The screen below shows the section where the user can add condition to the product identifying the price per item and the process through which that price will be applicable on the units of the product purchased.
The subcategory of the surcharge allows the user to view the already existing surcharge values and codes in the system. Here the user can either enable default settings on available surcharges or can customize them. If the user opts for default settings all the available surcharges will be included against the product, however if the setting is set to default the user can choose whether to add or not add the available surcharges. The screen is shown below for reference:
This sub module allows the user to view edit and delete the products existing in the system. Note that when the edit products module and delete products modules are selected as shown in figure 140 the user will be redirected to the view products screen and from here the user can perform the edit and delete functionality. Here the user can perform the additional functions of importing and exporting product details from third party applications of MYOB and Xero. The screen is shown below:
This sub module allows the user to add a package. The package is basically the amalgamation or group of more than one product. The user here adds the package by including different products into a group. This functionality is related directly to the add new job feature. In order to add a new package, the user will need to include information in fields as shown below:
This sub module allows the user to view edit and delete the packages existing in the system. Note that from here the user can perform the edit and delete functionality as well. The screen is shown below:
